Breeding restrictions none none none Cats shall be DNA tested for the GBE-a gene (GSD IV – glycogen storage disease) unless both parents of the breeding cat are proven not to b e carriers of GSD IV.
Cats to be tested must be identifiable by microchip or tattoo, and the microchip or tattoo ID number shall follow the test documentation to the laboratory and be clearly stated on the test result certificate.
The following breeding principle must be observed:
Carriers must not be mated with carriers.
A valid veterinary certificate regardibg GHBE-1 status shall accompany the cat’s pedigree.
Before the registration of any White NFC on the Active Register, a BAER certificate of freedom from deafness for the cat must be supplied to the GCCF. none none none none

Length of coat and density of undercoat vary with the seasons. Kittens can take up to 6 months of age to develop guard hairs. none none
