Scott "Scoot" Andresen is the current Vice President of the Australian Cat Federation. He grew up in the far north of New Zealand, and always had a passion for animals—cats in particular. “Scoot” became involved in the cat fancy when he met his wife Liz in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. Liz was breeding Siamese/Orientals at the time. They currently breed Siamese, Orientals, and Burmese under the cattery prefix Cleveland.

Scott commenced training in Group 2 (Siamese & Oriental) and joined the Australian Cat Federation panel in 2005, extended to All Shorthair in 2009 and became an All-Breeds Judge in 2014.

Scott and Liz live in Adelaide, South Australia and are affiliated with the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy South Australia. "Scoot" has judged extensively throughout Australia, and, in New Zealand and China.

Chris Merritt

Co-Ordinating Cat Council of Australia

Chris Merritt is the current President of the Co-Ordinating Cat Council of Australia after being in the role of Vice President and acting President in recent years. She also holds the role of the Liaison Officer.

Chris began her journey in the cat world in 1975 and in time, went on to become a Group 1 Judge in 1986 and an All–Breeds judge in 1992. As well as being an All–Breeds Tutor Judge with Cats Queensland Inc. and on the CCC of A Tutor Judge’s panel, she has been involved on the Management Committee of Cats Queensland Inc. since its inception. Chris is also the Honorary Registrar of this association.

Rachel Anger is originally from Michigan and recently retired as a legal assistant for Michigan’s largest law firm and moved to Florida. Rachel’s natural love and appreciation for all animals led her to become a CFA judge in 1994. Since that time, she has judged across the United States and Canada, as well as in South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Russia, Ukraine, Austria, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Sweden, Finland, Indonesia and Thailand. She has had the honor of judging several times at the CFA-Iams Cat Championship Show at Madison Square Garden, New York (including Best of the Best), as well as numerous CFA International Shows in Cleveland (including Best of the Best), Detroit (Novi), Philadelphia (Oaks), Houston, Atlanta, San Mateo CA (including Best of the Best), the first CFA National Show in Indianapolis in 2011, and the 2014 CFA World Championship Show in Philadelphia. Rachel has appeared in the televised videos The Standard of Perfection and Cat-Minster, and the 2018 Netflix documentary Catwalk: Tales from the Cat Show Circuit. Rachel was honored to be named to the coveted Judges’ Spotlight Award and has received three Star Awards in recognition of service to the Association.

Rachel has shown cats since 1978. Her Camberwell cattery is a Tier II Cattery of Distinction, with Distinguished Merit awards in Oriental, Colorpoint, Cornish Rex, European Burmese, and Maine Coon, as well as an American Wirehair DM she owned. She has also owned and shown Papillion dogs. One of her dogs won several all-breed Best in Show titles, as well as many Specialty Best in Show titles, and numerous group and breed placements. Rachel and her son have a small aviary, and she rides one of three Harley-Davidsons she owns as often as time allows. Rachel is the immediate past Chair of the CFA Judging Program and continues to serve on the Committee. She occasionally participates on the faculty of the CFA Breed Awareness and Orientation Schools as an instructor. She is serving her eleventh consecutive two-year term as Secretary on the CFA Board of Directors. In 2008 and commencing again in 2015 until the present, she has served as CFA’s delegate and/or advisor to the World Cat Congress annual meeting.

Rachel looks forward to continuing to serve the cat fancy, both behind the judging stand and at the board table. Her judging philosophy is to “honor and respect each cat, each exhibitor, and each fellow judge”, and through that philosophy has been fortunate enough to develop many lifelong friends.

Annette Sjödin

Fédération Internationale Féline

Annette Sjödin is currently the President of the Fédération Internationale Féline (FIFe). She is also the President of Sweden’s FIFe member, Sveriges Kattklubbars Riksförbund (SVERAK), a position she has held for several years and President of the Swedish club, Västsvenska Kattklubben. Annette has also been active on several commissions within SVERAK. She is a FIFe International all-breed judge and has bred Persians, Exotics and Burmese.

Governing Council of the Cat Fancy

John Hansson was until Helen Marriott-Power joined him in 2021, the only GCCF All-Breed Judge, as such John is Full on All Breeds and judge in All sections. His GCCF prefix is PANNADULOA which is an anagram of his twin daughters' names, under John’s prefix possibly his main claim to fame would be breeding and showing Supreme Grand Champion & UK Grand Premier Pannaduloa Blazer who was the youngest Supreme Grand Champion winner of any breed which he won in 1986 some 39 years later, he still holds that distinction, Blazer was also the 1st Male Siamese Male UK Gr Pr. Winner, he returned to the Supreme as a neuter and was Best of Variety Siamese Neuter in 1988 becoming the first Siamese neuter to attain UK status the following year. 2 female Neuters were the first Siamese neuters holders of the status. After serving 2 terms as GCCF chair, and 2 terms as Vice Chair, John is now a board member and currently Chair of the Joint Rex Breed Advisory Committee. John is also president of several Cat Clubs

John bred Siamese, mainly Silver Series Orientals, prior to them gaining championship status and Cornish Rex.

As an All-Breed judge John has judged in over 40 different countries, he has been involved with the GCCF Supreme show for a few years, being the event coordinator in the latter years.

Dr. Ngaire Dixon is the Chair of the New Zealand Cat Fancy. Ngaire breeds Devon Rex cats in the picturesque mountains of Queenstown, on the South Island of New Zealand.

She is a Veterinary Surgeon and a passionate advocate for the health and welfare of our beloved feline companions.

Ngaire's extensive leadership and governance roles equip her with a strategic outlook to drive the organisation's growth and relevance.

Jan van Rooyen

Southern African Cat Council

Jan van Rooyen is currently the Treasurer of the Southern African Cat Council (SACC) and a Judges Council Delegate. He is also a former President of SACC, having held that post from 2009 – 2012. Jan started his judging course in 1995 and became an all-breeds judge in 2001. His involvement in the cat fancy started in 1989 when he started breeding and showing Burmese, which he continues today under the cattery name Zion.

Vicki Jo Harrison is the current President of The International Cat Association (TICA). She is an approved Allbreed Judge and Ring/School Instructor.

Vicki Jo served 2 terms on the TICA Board of Directors as the South Central Regional Director prior to being elected President.

She breeds Siamese and Oriental Shorthair cats under the Radiance Cattery and is the current Siamese Breed Group Committee Chairperson.

She has been actively involved in the cat fancy and has been a member of TICA since 1983.

Anneliese Hackmann

World Cat Federation

Anneliese Hackmann is currently President of the World Cat Federation (WCF), an organization she founded in 1988. She is also President of the German WCF member, Deutsche Edelkatze e.V. Anneliese is a WCF All-breed judge and for some time was one of the few breeders of the German Rex. She has written several books about cats, the most successful being Birmankatzen. Anneliese—as President of WCF—was one of the founder members of the World Cat Congress.
