Ocicat Variants (Ocicats of unrecognized colours or patterns), which are bred from Ocicat or Ocicat variant parents or from Ocicat x Aby matings. Tese are self cats, smoke cats, ticked tabby cats, cats with Siamese colour restriction (blue-eyed Ivory), cats with Burmese colour restriction (Ivory- Burmese coat pattern) or cats with Tonkinese colour restriction (Ivory- darker points).
Abyssinians in the following colours:
Tawny, blue, chocolate, lilac, red, cream and silver varieties of these colours.

Permitted outcross to Abyssinians with resulting progeny reverting back to Generation 1 and subsequent generations shall be registered according to the generation progression   Abyssinian, Siamese

Cats of Ocicat appearance produced from matings to other recognised breeds whose Registration Policies permit Ocicats as an outcross breed shall be registered as directed by the Registration Policy for the other breed, but with no reference to Ocicat type, and shall not be permitted in the pedigrees of Ocicats.

All other cats of Ocicat appearance which in their pedigrees within the preceding five generations have any breeds other than Ocicats or Abyssinians shall be registered on the Reference Register as ‘no recognised breed’ with no progression.

Due to the spotted patched tabby (tortie) cats resulting rom the sex-linked “O” gener, no reds, creams or torbies are allowed.

Very rufous cinnamons and fawns may resemble red or cream but never produce female torbies.

Ocicat & Classicat may be freely intermated with the progeny registered according to coat pattern.
